Come join me in fishing my beautiful home waters! I offer guided fly fishing and scenic tours on the McKenzie and Willamette Rivers based out of Eugene, Oregon. These rivers are home to healthy populations of Rainbow and Cutthroat trout that readily eat the fly. There is no place I’d rather be than on the river. Fly fishing from a drift boat puts you in easy reach of all the best water and is a beautiful way to spend the day. I cater to beginners and experts alike, kids are welcome, and I love to share my passion for all things fishy. A day on the water consists of drifting six to twelve miles of river and fishing a variety of techniques as we go. Full or half days available. When Steelhead are around we can target them. I fished for 2 days in mid-September on the McKenzie with Josh. This was my 22nd day of guided fishing this year in Montana, Idaho, California, and Oregon. And Josh is one of the very best guides I have had the pleasure to fish with. He put me on fish-lots of them. We enjoyed laughs about the ones that got away as well as the ones that did not. Josh dances the dory between boulders and through the whitewater better than almost anyone. Just watching his boating skill is worth the price of admission. And Josh is also a great teacher. He refined my straight line nymphing skills and shared a modified dry-dropper that refused to sink. He is a delight to spend a few days with on the McKenzie.
