One of my favorite quotes, true in the 1800's, even more so today. My name is Josh Lusher, I am a conservation minded angler and guide with a love for all things wild. A day on the river is about much more than the fish, its a connection to the natural and a disconnection from the hustle of the daily. Fly fishing brings it all together. I am a member of the McKenzie River Guides Association, certified in First Aid and CPR, and licensed by the Oregon State Marine Board. I work for both of our local fly shops, Homewaters and The Caddis Fly Shop as an independent guide. Fly fishing for trout and steelhead on the McKenzie and Willamette Rivers is what I do. Guided fishing trips are a beautiful way to experience the river. Drifting beautiful places with the occasional connection to electricity is a wonderful way to spend the day, join me.
